Teaching

Koozin actively teaches bass lessons in NYC. In addition, Koozin is Program Director at the Q Studiolab where he teaches Music History, Private Lessons, and more. Koozin is also a substitute ensemble teacher at The New School, and teaches Ensembles for Jazz House Kids.

John has also taught and performed at masterclasses throughout the U.S. and abroad at camps, colleges, and conferences. He teaches double bass, electric bass, guitar, general music, ear training, and composition. Contact John for referrals or more information at jkoozin@gmail.com.
